'It's not a sprint': Epidemiologists discuss the marathon efforts against the COVID-19 pandemic

Disease researchers from Falk College at Syracuse University provide an overview of what is known about the COVID-19 pandemic so far. Brittany Kmush, PhD, specializes in infectious disease epidemiology, and David Larsen, PhD, specializes in environmental epidemiology. Together they explain what is and isn't working, in terms of controlling the spread of the novel coronavirus. They also address what this autumn is likely to entail for Central New Yorkers, how the pandemic might end, and causes for hope. Larsen and Kmush are also affiliated with Upstate.
